Realtor 101: Location, Location, Location

It is commonly said that in real estate, it’s all about location, location, location. Why does this one word carry so much weight?

Remember that the location of the land is immobile and fixed. Therefore, while characteristics of a property can be modified over time, one should be certain of where they want to buy before making the big leap. The location also plays a huge factor when determining the budget for a home or profitability in an investment home.

If you are new to an area, you need an expert (your REALTOR) who is knowledgeable about the history and economic change in your desired area, can clearly identify all of your requirements and can search for the best properties in the most qualified locations that will suit your personal wants and needs.

It is encouraged to travel in the same car as your Realtor so that they can point out important features about the surrounding areas such as popular interstate and transportation methods, proximity to shops, and other city services. Make the most out of this time and never be afraid to ask questions!

When determining your desired location, ask yourself these questions…

Location, for surrounding area

Location, to tick as many things on your wish list.

Location, to serve your needs.

Give us a call today and we'll be more than happy to help you get your new home search underway.
